Ducati
Ducati moved swiftly to tie star man Francesco Bagnaia 𝄹down to a long-term deal but the saga over his 2025 team-mate dominated the early rider market.
Marc Marquez eventually claimed the role, after an apparent U-turn from Ducati, who had appeared to pick title leader Jorge Marti🤪n.
VR46 will replace Yamaha-bound Pramac as t🌸he new factory-supported satellite team. Fabio di Giannantonio will stay with VR46 but has signed directly with Ducati and been upgraded to factory🎃-spec machinery.
Diggia's new team-mate will be Franco Morbidellℱi, moving from Pramac to take over Marco Bezzecchi's year-old bike.
Ducati will also welcome Moto2 teenage talent Fermin Aldeguer to the premier class in 2025. Aldeguer will ride alongside Alex Marquez at Gresini, in place 🔜of Marc Marquez.
KTM
KTM had already locked Brad Binder into a long-term contract until 2026, with rookie star Pedro Acos☂ta confirmed as moving from Tech3 GASGAS to the factory team.
But there was a surprise at the Tech3 team which will run an all-new line-up of Enea Bastianini and Maverick 🧔Vinales, w💦hile also dropping GASGAS branding for Red Bull KTM colours.
That also means current KTM ride✤rs Jack Miller and Augusto Fernandez are out of a ride. Both were then hotly linked with joining Yamaha next season, Miller at the new Pramac project and Fernandez as a test rider.
Aprilia
It'll be all change for 2025 at the factory Aprilia with Aleix Espargaro retiring at the end of this year and Maveric🐭k Vinales signing for ♎KTM Tech3.
Jorge Martin will inherit good friend Espargaro's machine, after mꦛissing out at Ducati, with Marco Bezzecchi arriving from VR46 to replace Vinales.
The rebrand of the US-bac🃏ked Trackhouse saw Moto🌊2 race winner Joe Roberts linked with a move to his 'home' team, but the deal instead went to Moto2 title contender Ai Ogura.
Ogura will ride alongside Raul Fernandez, who will be the only Ap🌊rilia rider with prior race experience of💜 the RS-GP.
Yamaha
A key piece 💧of the 2025 rider ma🔯rket was solved by Yamaha when they tied Fabio Quartararo into new contract, rumoured to be making him MotoGP's highest-paid rider.
Alex Rins will remain his teammate too.
The factory then pulled off another major coup when, having lost out on VR46, th▨ey succeeded in tempting reigning teams' champion's Pramac🐓 away from Ducati on what is reported to be a seven-year deal for factory bikes starting next season.
Miguel Oliveira has signed a two-year deal directly with Yamaha to ride one of the factory-spec Pramac bikes, with Jack Miller then confirmed🐻 as his team-mate (on a one-year deal).
Honda
Luca Marini signed a two-year contract to be Marc Marquez's Repsol Honda🍬 replacement, with Johann Zarco also locked in ꦇuntil the end of 2025 at LCR.
Joan Mir then agreed a new two-ye𝓰ar Repsol Honda deal midway through 2024, despite expressing frustration at the lack of techn♋ical progress with the RC213V.
LCR's Takaaki Nakagami is out of contract and, while Ogura's Trackhouse contract removed soﷺme pressure, his place will be taken by Thai Moto2 star Somkiat Chantra.
Nakagami will switch to HRC 🍃test rider duties in Japan and 'participate in some M🐎otoGP races as a wild-card'.
Aleix Espargaro will also be a HRC test and wild-cꦺard rider in 2025.

Peter has been in the paddock for 20 years and has seen Valentino Rossi come and go. He is at the forefront of the Suzuki exit story and Marc Marque𒁃z’s injur🌠y issues.
