James Ellison will be amongst the rid🌊ers testing at Portimao after being invited to sample Cal Crutchlow's title-winning Yamaha SSP R6 machine.

The British Superbike runner-up is one of several riders taking part in tests across just three Supersport teams - Yamaha, Ten Kate Honda and Kawasaki Provec -♊, the Briton being jo🐻ined by countryman and new Superstock 600 champion Gino Rea.

Having been dropped from cash-strapped Stiggy Racing prior to the final round, Anthony West will also ride the R6, along with Martin Cardenas,💝 the Colombian having impressed on his debut outing with Veidec Honda at the weekend.

Despite reports suggesting Yamaha we♉re on the cusp of exiting the Supersport class, their title win over the weekend has apparently prompted a re-think for next season.

Ten Kate Honda, meanwhile, will test Kenan Sofuoglu - already con💦firmed to ride for them in 2010 -, 𝓰Yamaha rider Michele Pirro and its Superstock 1000 entry Maxime Berger.

Kawasaki will test existing riders Joan Lascorz, and Katsuaki Fujiwara, a🐓s well as World Superbike exiles Broc Parkes and David Salom.
