Ex-WSS champ Pitt joins Motorpoint Yamaha

Andrew Pitt is to become the latest world championship racer to switch to the MCE British Superbike Championship after penning a deal 🥂to join Motorpoint Yamaha for the upcoming Mallory Park round.
The experienced Australian is a double World Supersport Champion, but has also one victory to his name in the World Superbike Championship, while he has credits in MotoGP꧒ with the factory Kawasaki team.
Pitt began the year riding in the World Superbike Championship ཧwith burgeoning Reitwagen BMW outfit, but the Austrian team folded three rounds in leaving him on th🌃e sidelines.
He will take the place of💖 Ian Lowry, who in turn had only joined the team as a repla♛cement for the retired Neil Hodgson.

Pitt is the latest in a long line of Australian riders to sample ꦆracing in the British domestic series, while he follows in the footsteps of former world championship riders including Ryuichi Kiyonari and Josh Brookes.
