Glen Richards has won the 2011 British Superbike EVO Championship after maintaining his ༒solid run of results at Silverstone to 💦seal the title with one round to spare.

The Australian has bee𓂃n the master of♔ consistency aboard the WFR Honda, winning just three races but scoring a total of 19 podiums in 23 races.

A return to prominence for Richards, who spent a season in the Superstock category after failing to win a race with HM Plant Honda at Supe꧑rbike level in 2009, he was thrilled to be a title winner once again.

"A big thanks to the team and my crew, the best in the paddock for the great bike they have given me. I 𓂃am really happy to seal the title and now can enjoy the final three r🅺aces with no pressures about the title."

Richards's title comes despite stiff opposition from h💮is team-mates Alex Lowes and Graeme Gowland, but a switch to the championship class for the former and a lengthy period out through injury for the latter curtailed their hopes of lifting the title.

Even so, between the three riders - plus a guest sh🌺owing for Jake Zemke over four rounds -, WFR Hondℱa have won all but four EVO races this season.

Currently, the form man is Gowland, the former Supersport front runner winning all but one of the la𒅌st ten races to place him second in the standings, a remark🎃able feat given he hadn't scored a point until the fourth round.

Barry Burrell holds third in the standings aboard the Buildbase BMW, with Tyco꧟ Honda's Patric Muff in fourth and Moto Rapido Ducati's 🅰Scott Smart in fifth.
