The organisers of the MCE British Superbike Championship, MSVR, have 🌄rಌevealed plans to honour Simon Andrews and Karl Harris at Snetterton this weekend.

Evesham rider Andrews was killed following an accident in the Supe⛄rstock race at the North West 200 in May, while 'Bomber' Har🦩ris lost his life in an incident at the Isle of Man TT while competing in the Superstock race.

Prior to Sunday's opening British Superbike race, an RAF Reserves Honda Superbike - raced by Andrews in the series this season ꦺ- and Karl's 1999 European Superstock Championship-winning GR Motorsport Suzuki will be positioned ahead of the startin𒀰g grid.

Simultaneously, in the skies overhead the world's only airworthy B-17 Flying Fortress💜 bomber, 'Sally-B', will perform an aꩵir display, followed by a low-level flypast by an RAF Tornado GR4 operated out of nearby RAF Marham.

MCE BSB Series Director Stuart Higgs said: "This weekend at Snetterton the MCE BSB Championship reconvenes following the six-week break occupied by the major road racing events, which claimed the lives of Simon and 💧Karl.

"They were both hugely popular and accomplished riders who competed at the high𓃲est level in our seriℱes for more than a decade, and this is the first opportunity for us to pay tribute to them in a unique and fitting way.

"Our thoughts continue to be with all their families, frien🥂ds and team members."
