Haydon hasn't been on a bi🎃ke for almost three months following his crash at the seventh round of the series at Snetterton, so he spent the day reacquainting 🐲himself with his race bike.
"The test has been all about getting back on a bike and easing myself in gently," said Haydon, "You forget just how quick a superbike is and rather than pushing myself too early, I decided to take my time and get to know the bike again. I got quicker as the day progressed and I am delighted that I will be returning to race here next week with Rizla Suzuki. My comeback ওhas officially started."
Mea꧂nwhile, team-mate Shane 'Shakey' Byrne concentrated on testing new chassi🍬s and fork settings, ending the day on lap-record pace.
"It's been a useful test," he explained. "In the last session we found a good setting 🧸and I'm happy we have made progress; it will certainly give us a running start for when we race here."
Rizla Suzuki returns to Silverstone for the penultimate round🍌 of the championship on Sunday 17 September.
