Leon Haslam has ended F⛎riday on top after&nbs💛p;the late lap time attacks from a host of Bennetts British Superbike championship front-runners at Snetterton.

While the BSB championship leader headed up the times for the majority of the session by being the first rider to dip into the 1m 47s bracket, a number of rivals chipped away at the best lap in the cloꦚsing minutes.

But it was the JG Speedfit Kawasa𝓡ki who set the marker to beat going into tomorrow’s FP3 with a 1m 47.674s to edge out Josh Brookes on the McAMS Yamaha by l✨ess than one tenth of a second.

FP1 timesheet-topper Glenn Irwin had to settle for third place on the Be Wiser Ducati while his bro🦩ther Andrew impressed ahead of his BSB debut by ending the session seve🥃nth fastest as he steps in for the injured Shane Byrne.

Despite an early fall at Agostini’s Jake Dixon recovered to take fourth place for RAF Reserves Kawasaki ahead of FS-3 Racing Kawasaki’s Danny Buchan and J♒G Speedfit Kawasaki’s Luke Mossey.

The FP2 session was briefly red flagged after Sylvain Barrier suffered a technical issue before stopping at Turn 12, which saw the track checked for any dropped oil, but 💧the session was cleared to restart after the Smiths Racing BMW rider was recovered.

With Irwin seventh, James Ellison on the Anvil Hire TAG Yamaha had to settle for eighth as Michael Laverty (Tyco BMW) and Tarran Mackenzie (McAMS Yamaha) rou𒀰nded out the top ten.
