While his Bennetts British Superbike title odds look tough, Jake Dixon is eager t༒o ‘go out on a high’ at the final round before moving to Moto2 in 2019.

The RAF Regular & Reserves Kawasaki rider has been a star performer in BSB this year as Leon Haslam’s nearest title challenger but a cruel mechanical issue which forced him out of race two at Assen means he faces an unlikely task of turning around a 61-point deficit with a maximum of 75 points left to score at the triple-header Brands 🧸Hatch finale.

While Dixon is expected to maintain his fight to the finish, he’s 🌳hopeful o🌺f rewarding his team with wins to cap an impressive campaign before he moves on to Moto2.

“As a team we have had an unbelievable season but there are still three races to be won this weekend at Brands Hatch,” Dixon said. “That’s my focus going into th꧅e final round and I’m going to give it e🤪verything I have to end the season in the best way we possibly can.

“I am really looking fꦆorward to the weekend, Brands Hatch is my home round and we have three races to go, but I’m really determined as always to do the bꩵest job we can and I want to go out on a high before moving on to Moto2 next year.”

Dixon will compete for the Aspar-run Angel Nieto team in Moto2 next se🅺ason having signed a two-year deal last month.
