Josh Brookes has maintain h🐽is momentum in warm-up heading into the Bennetts British Superbike championship title deciders against Be Wiser Ducati team-mate Scot𓄧t Redding at Brands Hatch.

The 2015 BSB champion claimed victory in the opener of the final round triple-header to tr🎃im Redding’s lead down to 19 points inℱ the standings.

Brookes has duly kept hold of top spot in the 15-minute warm-up session held in very cold but dry conditions a🌠t the Kent circuit. The Australian’s 1m 26.644s was enough to keep clear of Redding’s late improvement with just 0.047s splittin🎃g the pair at the end of the session.

With the ex🌠-MotoGP rider finishing in third place in Race 1, Redding knows he can secure the BSB title with a pair of rostrum fi💛nishes today regardless of what Brookes can produce.

Fresh from re-si🎶gning with Smiths Racing BMW, Peter Hickman ended warm-up in third place, withi🍌n half a second of the leading Be Wiser Ducatio duo and in front of Tyco BMW’s Christian Iddon and former team-mate James Ellison on the OMG Racing Suzuki.

With Honda’s Andrew Irwin in sixth pla⭕ce, FS-3 Racing Kawasaki’s Danny Buch𒊎an claimed seventh in the warm-up session.

Tommy Bridewell, who was mathematically eliminated from the BSB title fight in yesterday’s Race 1, completed just one timed lap in warm-up leaving him 23rd and last of the riders to set lap times in the cold cond൩itions.

Race 2 takes place at 12:45 local time before the 2019 BSB fina𒊎le at 16:00.
