After making his World Superbike debut for Suzuki in Navarraও earlier this year, Naomichi Uramoto will now get his first taste of Bꩵritish Superbike action this weekend. 

Uramoto replaces Buildbase Suzuki rider Danny Kent who is still recovering from a hip injury suffer🍰ed at Donington Park

The Japanese rider will become the 🧸fourth different rider to compete alongside Gino Rea since Kent’s injury - the others being Luke Stapleford, Tim Neave and TT specialist Michael Dunlop. 

Ahead of his British Superbike de🅘but, Uramoto said: "I always find it exciting to race at a new ci🐼rcuit, or with a new team, or in a new championship, and this weekend will be extra-exciting as I have to do all three. 

"I am really grateful to Steve [Hicken – team manager] that he and the team have given ꦓme this opportunity. 

"Bu✨ilding experience is important, by all means, but racers are always hungry for results, and I am looking forward to try𒀰ing to do just that."

Uramoto currently competes in the RFME ꦇSpanish Superbike Championship with JEG Racing🐷, the same outfit he completed his WorldSBK wildcard appearance with. 

"We’re looking forward to welcoming Nao⛄michi into the team this wee💦kend," added Team Manager, Steve Hicken. 

"He’ll have a lot to learn, with both the bike and the circuit, but we’re confident we can give ꦜhim the tools to give a good account of himself, gain some experience in BSB,🃏 and get the best results he can as a newcomer to the series."
