George Russell puts Lewis Hamilton over Max Verstappen as “quickest and the best on the grid”

George Russell believes Lewis Hamilton is still the “quickest and the best” on the 2023 F1 grid despite Max Verstappen’s run of dominance.

Verstappen is on course to win his third consecutive title in F1 2023, winning the last 10 races in a row.

Comparatively, Hamilton is without a victory since the 2021 Sa𝔉udi Arabian Grand Prix.

Hamilton was also defeated by Russell in the 2022 drivers’ championship, with the younger British driver taking Mercedes’ꦇ only win in the last tw💃o seasons.

However, the tide has turned in✅ 2023, with Hamilton often being the lead Mercedes, but the pair remain one of the most evenly-matched pairings on the grid.

Russell has often b❀een complimentary about Hamilton, especially as during his childhood years, he was pictured with the former McLaren driver, looking t🌠o get his autograph.
