Rosberg: Mercedes can surprise people in Sepang

Nico Rosberg has said he has a 'good feeling' going to the Malaysian Grand Pr🎃ix next weekend.
Rosberg gave the new Mercedes Grand Prix team its very first podium finish at the Sepang International Circuit twelve months ago and while the Brackley-based outfit had a difficult start to the season in Australia last Sunday, the 25-year-old is hopeful he can replicate that rostrum result on Apri🏅l 10.
"We had a tough wꦗeekend in Australia but the team has worked hard and we are confident that the car will be running reliably in Malaysia," Rosberg said. "Melbourne is a unique circuit and we know that we will have a much better understanding of our level of performance after the next races. I think we can surprise people neꦫxt Sunday.
"We know that the car is fast from tไhe last test in Barcelona, so n൲ow we have to work on proving that potential.
"To b🌌e honest, Sepang is my favourite circuit on the F1 calendar. It's fast and challenging with a nice layout and a real variation of corners which make it an exciting track to drive. Last year I qualified second and achieved the team's first podium of the season.
"I have a good feeling coming back here this year an♉d hope to achieve a good result at the 🐼home race of our title partner Petronas."
Team-mate Michael Schumacher meanwhile is also fond of Sepang: "We consider Malaysiaꦫ as one of our home Grand's Prix, so it obviously gives us a big boost to go there and have the support of Petronas and the Malaysian people," Schumacher added.
"The track itself is great as it gives you a wide variety of possibilities during every lap. You can take m♐ultiple lines through some of the corners, which is something you can do hardly anywhere else.
"I have always liked driving there, and I look forward to do🌱ing it again," he concluded.
