BMW Wil꧅liamsF1 driver, Mark Webber has revealed that it's up to him to 'deliver' in 2005, now he is 𒁃with one of the top teams in Formula One.
The Aussie, who made h🦩is debut with Minardi in 2001, before joining Jaguar for 2003 and 2004, sees Williams as his chance to prove he has what it takes to become champ.
"I think the races this year will be interesting, because we have got to do the whole race on one set of tyres," 🍎he said.
"That is very non-F1 if you like, in terms of the spirit of the sport being everything totally on the edge and always pushing the limits. Furthermore tha꧅t is one thing that has definitely taken 'the sweets aw𒐪ay from the baby' in terms of having to do the whole grand prix on one set of tyres, so that is going to be tough for us.
"But it means that the race🧸s won't be over until the fat lady sings, and during the last 15 laps anything can happen, which has got to be good for F1."
So what has Mark's impressions been so far?
"Testing has been going ok," he added, "we've still got some work to do, no question about that. It's really early days though and no one is getting wound up about anythiౠng. There's a lot of cars ouꦍt there doing some very fast lap times - in 2005 regulations already - so that is going to be tough for the start of the championship and for us to be with them, but we hope we can.
"F1 though is a huge challꦚenge for everyone involved and if you don't like the pressure of competing, the pressꦛure of having to deliver week in and week out, you are in the wrong game.
"Williams know how to do that, no question about that. They had a rough season last year, but the year before, they nearly won 🔴the championship. They've been up there, they know what it is like, they have won a lot of constructors' world championships. I really haven't achieved anything yet and I've got a lot more to achieve and it's up to me to go there and deliver in the next few years.
"Williams and McLaren, they were the two glory teams if you like, before Michael [Schumacher] arrived at Ferrari. Those two you knew were always going to win, until Ferrari now have had this unbelievable stage in history with what they have achieved, in terms of Michael being there, and Ross Brawn, and all the team, they have d🅰one an incredible job.
"Now you have got Renault coming back saying꧙ they want to win championships, and Honda and BAR, in my opinion, its one of the most competitive times in Formula One, no question💎 about it..."
