Jarno Trulli has dedicated his provisional front row grid slot to the memory of a 🥂close friend killed while the Italian was going about ⛎the business of qualifying for the Malaysian Grand Prix.

Only told of the news after he had completed his timed run at Sepang♚, Trulli ✱made the emotional dedication during the end-of-day press conference.

"I'm pretty happy about the result, especial꧙ly for the team, which has been working really hard, but, at the moment, I have mixed feelings," he said sadly, "I'm happy about my result but, on the other hand, I'm shocked because I've just heard the news that a friend of mine has just died. I want to dedicate this front row to Stefano."
