Heading into this weekend's H🍃ungarian Grand Prix, Ricciardo said he did not expect the issue to harm his chances in Budapest, but acknowledged he may be on the back foot later in the year as ✃further penalties loom for exceeding the permitted number of components for the season.

🃏"It shouldn’t [affect Hungary]. We still have another engine which is fine at the moment," Ricci♊ardo said.

"So we’ll run that engine this weekend but on mileage and stuff, it should be fine. Un❀less something unplanned happens to that, we shoul💃d be OK.

"I think that’s real🍸ly the main thing. All 𝓡going normal, it won’t hurt me this weekend, but it means a bit more pain at some point after the break.

"It’s frustrating for sure. I do get it, but I don’t get it. The 𝄹joys of F1."

Ricciardo has already exceeded the maximum number of parts on all of his power unit components for ಞ2018, ♔meaning any fresh parts will result in a grid penalty.
