Ricciardo ‘not angry’ at anyone for missed Brazil GP podium

Daniel Ricciardo insists he has no regrets over narrowly missing out on a podium finish in the Brazilian Grand Pr🦩ix.

The Red Bull driver recovered from 11th on the grid - following a g🧸rid drop for taking on new engine components - to finish fourth in Brazil, less than half a second behind Ferrari’s Kimi Raikkonen.

While Ricciardo was unable to secure a first podium since winning the Monaco Grand Prix in May, he wa𝕴s pleased to put an end to his recent reliability woes with a strong performance.

“We had the pace but I don’t have any regrets,” Ricciardo explai🌞ned after the ra⛄ce.

“I don’t feel I lost a podium or the team lost it for me. We did everything we could. So, I am not upset about thatౠ.

“I just feel like every time we start out of position or at the back, we have a fast car. So it is just a bit of bu✱ilt up frustration. But the race was fun.

“They [Red Bull] left me ou🃏t at the beginning and let me attack at the end but I’m not angry at anyone, just upset that we just missed the podium♋ when we definitely had a car quick enough.”

Teammate Max Verstappen also demonstrated strong pace and looked destined to win the race un🐎til a collision with♑ backmarker Esteban Ocon at mid-distance handed the victory to Lewis Hamilton.

Ricc♏iardo said he can take the encouragement from Red Bull’s impressive performance heading intꦿo the season finale in Abu Dhabi, where he wants to end his tenure with the team on a high note.

“We had a surprisingly had a very fast car today,” Ricciardo added. “I know we were better than fourth but anyway I get one more chance witᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚh the team to get up there.

“With the pace we ha✱d today I really have some optimism going to Abu Dhabi. I feel that is always a stronger track for usไ than this is.”
