The 21-year-old returns to the🐓 Red Bull fold to take up the test and reserve driver role and will split his time between Red Bull and AlphaTauri alongside long-standing reserve driver Sebastien Buemi.

Sette Camara will travel with the teams to races throughout the 2020 F1 campaign and work with Buemi on Red Bull’s simulator programme, wh💃ile the Brazilian will🃏 also be on hand to take part in the Running Show Car programme.

Thanks to his success in F2 last yea🍷r, Sette Camara has picked up sufficient F1 super licence points for this yea💟r meaning he will be able to take part in a Grand Prix weekend if required.

Aside from Buemi, who often has commitment clashes due to racing for Nissan e.dams in Formula E and Toyota in the World Endurance Championship, Red Bull’s current junior proꦗgramme doesn’t contain a driver with an F1 super licence.

As a result, Sඣette Camara could be called upon when Buemi is unavailable and either Red Bull or AlphaTauri needs a stand-in driver this sea༒son.

The 2020 F1 season gets underway this weekend wi꧋th the Australian Grand Rix where Sette Camara will begin his new roleཧ.
