Red Bull For🅠mula 1 driver Max Verstappen will make a wildcard appearance in the Supercars All Stars 🐻Eseries.

The Dutchman will race in a Red Bull liverꦜied V8 Holden Commodore Supercar in the second round of the Australian championship’s virtual series, with two races taking place on Wednesday night.

The Supercars Eseries features F1 circuits familiar to Verstappen including Sp🔯anish Grand Prix venue Barcelona and Silversto🅺ne, the home of the British Grand Prix.

“I’m lookinඣg forward to the rac꧙e,” Verstappen said.

“It’s going to be a challenge as it’s not a car I’ve dr🌞iven a lot on the sim, but they are pretty cool to watch in real life. We always𒊎 race with Supercars in Melbourne so it’s going to be interesting to see how I get on against all the regular drivers.

“I’ve triಞed the Supercar now a few times on iRacing and it’s a very tricky car to get right,” he added.

“I’m looking forward to racing alongside my mate Shane, or Pastor, ꦜas I call him – he’s a top shunter on ꦏthe sim! (laughs).

“We race online a lot toဣgether so hopefully we can do well for Red Bull and it should be a bit of fun racing against the other V8 drivers as well.”

Veꦿrstappen has experience in a Red Bull Holden having been driven around Albert Park by seven-time Supercars champion Jamie Whincup ahead of the 2019 Australian Grand Prix. 

Despite being a regular simracer, particularly in iRacing competitions, Ver👍stappen has refused to participate in F1’s Virtual Grand Prix series which is taking place amid the hiatus to real-world racing due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
