Reigning Formula 1 world champion Lewis Ha💖milton has revealed that he changes his driving style “every year” in his constant pursuit for improvement.

Even at 35-years old and with six world championships and 84 career wins to his name, Hamilton remains motivated to further improve himself on a year-by-year basis and has previously spoken about his desire to perfec🍰t his craft.

Speaking in a joint interview with his Me🅘rcedes boss Toto Wolff, and chaired by Sky F1’s Martin Brundle, Haꦛmilton insisted there is always room for improvement in his and the team's efforts to get better.

“You can always improve,” Hamilton explained.

“We didn’t win every rꦺace last year –🥂 there are areas that we stumbled and there are so many elements [in winning].

“There’s always areas we can improve. As a driver, how I can improve communication with my team and mechanics and the guys ꧙back at the factory? But als⛄o as a driver, [how can I] deliver better performances?”

When Brundle suggested that changes to driving technique would not be among the tweaks made in the quest for improvement, Hami꧟lton immediately responded saying: “Every year I do.

“Every year, and evꦿen through the season the technique’s evolving. This year for example𝔉 we’ve got the same tyres as last year, but last year, the whole year was an issue [with the tyres].

“So there’s still subtle techniques which I’m going to have to adapt, with als𓄧o a different car.

“And that’s part of the game, is being able to be adaptive, and we’ve ♔got this new car – I don’t know how it’s going to handle, hopefully she’s great.”

When the delayed 2020 season does eventually get underway following the disruption caused by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Hamilton will have the chancཧe to equal Michael Schumacher’s record of seven world championships, while he could also surpass the German’s feat of 91 grand prix victories.
