After another short break, Formula 1 is back in business as it returns to the Nurb🌠urgring fo🦩r the Eifel Grand Prix. 

Having🧸 not been on the calendar since 2013, F1 returns to a legendary venue in the Nurburgring - home to the intimidating Nor😼dschleife.

Given the time of year, the weather surely wi𝓡ll play its 𒆙part with cold and wet conditions expected throughout the duration of the weekend.

The Eifel Grand Prix marks a run of races where F1 hasn't been at in some time, such as Imola and Turkey, or where F1 hasn't raced at such at like Portimao before heading to the Middle East to close this uniᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚque season.

The Russian Grand Prix proved to be a decisive one in the race for 2020 F1 drivers' crown as Valtteri Bottas returned to winning ways at the Sochi Autodrom to🐷 claim his second race victory of the season.

The Finn endured a difficult qualifying session but bounced back in the race as overtook Max Ver💎stappen at the start and then challenged teammate Lewis Hamilton into Turn 1.

Fortune seemed to favour Bottas on this occasion when Hamilton was handed two separate time penalties for practice start infringemen🧜ts allowing Bottas and Max Verstappen to jump him through the s🎀tops.

Bottas went onto cla♐im his second win in Russia ahead of Verstappen and Hamilton.

The ga🌌p in the championship now sits at 44 points with seven rounds remain൲ing.

In terms of the midfield fight, Sergio Perez headed the pack in fourth place in Russia - beating Daniel Ricciardo, who was the lead 💟Renault in fifth.

McLaren sits third in the constructors' championship, just two points ahead of Racing Poi𒁏nt, while Renault is a further five points back in fifth.

What to expect from this weekend?

Pirelli has n🐓ominated the C2, C3 and C4꧒ compounds for this weekend - the same as at Monza and Spa-Francorchamps. 

With rain expected, keep an eye on the 'wet weather specialists' - Hami꧟lton, Verstappen, Esteban Ocon and Lance Stroll often fare best in the wet.
