Formula 1’s Imola race will be officially known as the ‘Made in Italy and Emilia-Ro🎐magna Grand Prix’ in 2021.

After staging the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix last year, Imola is returning to the F1 calendar to host the second round of the revised 2021 season on 18 April, though a ti♚tle h📖ad not been confirmed.

The governor of Emilia Romagna, Stefano Bonaccini, along with the Italian government’s ministry of foreign affairs and international coop♌eration, jointly announced the new title for F1’s return to Imola on Friday.

In full, the race held at the Autodromo Internazion💯ale Enzo e Dino Ferr🐬ari circuit is set to be called the Gran Premio del Made in Italy e dell’Emilia-Romagna - otherwise known as the ‘Made in Italy and Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix’.

Earlier on Friday, F1 confirmed the start times for the upcoming season, having reversed the decision fo꧃r grands prix to begin at 10 minutes past the hour.

In the announcement, F1 referred to the Imola round as ‘Ital𒁃y - Imo😼la’, while the Italian Grand Prix was listed as ‘Italy - Monza’.

It will represent the latest name change for Imola, which previously held the🌟 Itali🧸an Grand Prix in 1980 and the San Marino Grand Prix from 1981 to 2006.

AlphaTauri carried out a two-day private test at Imola this week to allow new signing Yuki Tsunoda to get up to speed and gain some mileage ahead of his rookie F1 campꦍaign.

Following pre-season testing in Bahrain on 12-14 March, the 2021 F1 season is due to begin with the Bahrain Grand Prix on 28 March and is set to feature a record꧟-breaking 23 rounds this year.
