Coming after 🌺a difficult start to the season that had seen Schumacher finish no higher than P4 in the opening 15 races, Schumacher was glad to see his bad luck ൲end and finally score a breakthrough result.
"I'm happy to be 𝓀finally over the bad luck. I think it’s🌄 good to score a decent amount of points," Schumacher said.
"🏅I think it’s true tha𝄹t in a way, the first one is the hardest, but obviously it’s also once you get that win, it gives you a lot of confidence. It gives you a lot of confidence to go into the next round, especially getting towards the end of the season now, it’s good that we have done it in a way that is also I think not easy, because we had a lot of pressure, not only from Nobu but throughout the whole season.
"We had some very strong performances, but not enough points for what we had. I think I refer back to Red Bull Ring or Silverstone where the pace was great, but in many ways we didn’t manage to reall💟y exploit it.
"In general I’m really happy that we managed to get that win, buꦕt mostly also getting those points in."
Schumacher's🎶 maiden F2 victory came at the same track where his father, Michael, won four times in Formula 1, and was also the site of his fourth F1 title success i🎀n 2001.
"It is very special. I think also going back to last year, when I won for the first time in Spa [in Formula 3], also a track where mಞy dad had a very good record," Schumacher Jr. said.
"The crowd here is amazing, which was even more of an enjoyable ra💙ce. In general I’m very happy to win here and not at Spa, because that would have been one win later. The earlier the better, and just happy with the win noཧw."
