Ex Red Bull junior Ticktum joins Gelael at DAMS for 2020 F2 season
Ex-Red Bull junior driver Dan Ticktum will make his F😼ormula 2 debut in 2020 after 🧜landing a seat alongside Sean Gelael with DAMS.
Two-time Macau Grand Prix winner Ticktum was dropped from Red Bull's junior proꦍgram earlier this year after a disappointing start to the season in Suℱper Formula, where he had been placed for 2019.
The Briton was announced as part of reign♔ing F2 teams' champion DAMS' line-up for 2020 on Wednesday, partnering Gelael, who moves across from Prema for his fourth season in the category.

The Briton was announced✤ as part of reigning F2 teams' champion DAMS' line-up for 2020 on Wednesday, partnering Gelael, who moves across from Prema for his fourth season in the categor♉y.
Both will feature for DAMS in this week's post-🀅season F2 test in Abu Dhabi.
"It’s an🏅 honour to be joining DAMS in Formula 2 for the 2020 ꦯseason. Having competed with them in GP3 in 2017, I’m looking forward to being back with the team and continuing to build on those successes," said Ticktum.
"By winning the teams’ title this year, DAMS has again shown that 🎀they are one of the best outfits out there. François and his team have a re♚putation in the Formula 1 paddock for producing top drivers as well as for offering them the best support to get them to F1.

Gel🗹ael added: "I’m really humbled that DAMS has accepted me as one of their drivers, especially after the year they’ve had✤ winning the teams’ championship and with the tough driver market there is.
