Enzo Fittipaldi fractures heel in F2 Jeddah start crash

Fittipaldi crashed into tღhe b🍨ack of Pourchaire’s stalled ART car at the start of the race.
The race was immediately red-flagged as med🔜ical staff assisted Fittipaldi and Pourchaire out of their cars.
Both drivers were t🍸ransported to King Fahad Armed Forces Hospital shortly afterwards for routine checks
Pourchaire confirmed on social media that he was “fine” but ♍remained unsure if he could race inꦜ the Abu Dhabi finale this weekend.
Pietro Fitti🐻paldi - Enzo’s brother - released an update confirming that he’s “is awake/alert and resting a♒t the hospital.
“Hey everyone thanks for all the messages,” he wrote. “Enzo is awake/alert and resting at the hospital. He has a fracture in his right heel but thankfully things are much better than what we 𓂃all expected.
“Thank you to 🍃the FIA, the team and all the m🍨edical staff here in Saudi Arabia.”
The F2 campaign concludes this weekend at the Yas 🌸Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi with Oscar Piastri onꦅ the brink of the title.
Piastri won the feature race in Jeddꦫah after half points were awarded.
The Alpine junior has a 52.5 poin🐎ts advantage o🅷ver Prema teammate Robert Shwartzman.
