Formula 3 champi🍒onship leader Logan Sargeant has claimed a third consecutive pole position in♌ Barcelona.

Sargeant was the only driver to get into the 1m32s as he claimed yet another pole position, t🥃op𝓰pling Jake Hughes’ lap on his final run.

Pole position in Spain means Sargeant gets another four points added to his tally an𝓀d thus extending his championship lead to five points over Prema team-mate Oscar Piastri. 

Hughes languished down in 17th a♏fter the first runs of qualifying but propelled himself onto pole position before being beaten by Sargeant. 

Liam Lawson will start Saturday’s 💧feature race from third oဣn the grid, just ahead of Piastri.

Piastri topped the time-sheets after the initial laps but couldn’t find the improvement his team-mate and main championship rival Sargeant didඣ in the final moments.

Sebastián Ferná♓ndez looked to be back on form in the ART, qualifying 🔯fifth. 

Next up is Clément Novalak in sixth ahead💜 of David Beckmann and Alex Peroni.

Lirim🌌 Zendeli looked on course for a strong qualifying and sat inside the top five for much of the session,꧂ but dropped to tenth place as the track improved and drivers bettered their lap times. 

Richard Veꦚrschoor lines up 11th for MP Motorsport ahead of Leonardo Pulcini in the Carlin and Matteo Nannini in t🐬he Jenzer Motorsport.

Alexander Smolꦡya🐲r and Frederik Vesti rounded out the top 15.

Alessio Deledda ended the session in barriers🧸 after oversteering wide at Turn 4 into the gra🌺vel and eventually into the barriers.

The Italiaꦑn will start in 30th place and has yet to score a point so far this season.
