The Russian driver will compete in F3 for a third season, making the move to the Dutch outfit after two years ꦡwith ART Grand Prix.

After finishing 11th in his rookie season,🌼 Smolyar enjoyed a strong second campaign, finishing sixth overall with two victories to his name.

With Smolyar like🅷ly to be one of the most experienced drivers on the grid, a title push is likely going ♛to be the main aim for him in 2022.

“I’m delighted to team up with MP Motorsport for another season in FIA F3,” Smolyar said. “Last year, I foug♔ht many duels with MP’s cars as they challenged for the podium finishes that I was aiming to achieve as well, and now we’re together, hoping to take as many wins as we possibly can.

“We’ll be preparing ourselves to the maximum before we hit t🦋he road for testing and the first round in Bahrain.”

Smolyar is MP Motorsport’s first signing for the new season which gets underway at the Bahrain International Circuit🀅 on Marc🤪h 18.
