Rosenqvist makes IndyCar switch with Ganassi for 2019
Felix Rosenqvist will make a full-time switch to IndyC⛎ar in 2019, having signed a deal to race for Chip Ganassi Racing.
The Swede will join recently-crowned five-tiജme champion Scott💞 Dixon at the Chip Ganassi squad, which has also announced a multi-year extension with primary partner NTT DATA.
Rosenqvist will replace Ed Jones in the no.10 NTT DATA Honda entry in a move that most likely ends his full-tiꦕme involvement in Formula E.
“To say I’m thrilled🐻 or excited to be making this step in my career would be an understatement,” Rose𒐪nqvist said.

“To 𓆏say I’m thrilled or excited to be making this step in my career would be an understatement,” Rosenqvist said.
“Coming to IndyCar and driving for Chip is just a dream come true. I’ve followed the team for as long as I can remember, and it’s the kind of team aಌnd owner any driver would want to race for.
“Scott has had another tremendous 𒁏season with three wins and a fifth title, so you absolutely couldn’t ask for anything mor𝓰e in a teammate,” he added.
“I can’t wait to sta▨rt contributing to the team and ﷽getting to spend more time with everyone at NTT DATA.”
The 26-year-old won the 2015 Eu🐟ropean Formula 3 Championship with leading single-seater outfit Prema and 🍌tried his hand at sports car racing and DTM before most recently competing in Formula E with Mahindra.
Rosenqvist claimed three race wins during his two-year spell in the all-electric championship and finished third in his rookie campaign i🐎n 2016/17.
“Felix has become fami🍎liar with our team and has worked in our system a little bit after coming over to test with us on a few occasions,” team owner Chip Ganassi commented.
“Our management and engineering groups, al🥃ong with the entire team, were impressed by his ability. The time was right to get him in the No. 10 car, 🎐and I think I speak for a lot of people when I say that we are confident about what he can do behind the wheel next season.
