Carmichael 'hungry' for first SX GP crown.
Ricky Carmichael will stage his Supercross comeback when heﷺ takes his new factory Suzuki to the opening round of the 2005 THQ World Supercross GP this Saturday, December 4, at Toronto's SkyDome.
Carmichael missed the entire 2004 World SX GP/AMA Supercross Series with a knee injury, which put a halt to his three-straight AMA Supercross championships. His only Supercross race since then was the one-off US Open, where he was beaten by arch rival - and reigning A🎉MA champ - Chad Reed.

In pursuit of his first World Supercross GP championship (the Floridian has previously only entered the AMA championship) Carmichael brings an impressive 33 250cc Supercross main event wins to the Toronto starting gate. He's also second on 🍰the all-time Supercross win list, behind only Jeremy McGrath.
"Since the Maxxis🅠 US Open, I have really increas✱ed my training and riding to ensure that I am in top shape for the THQ World Supercross GP," said Ricky. "This is going to be one heck of a season, and I am hungry to win my first THQ World Supercross GP championship."
However, ♎RC will face few of his main rivals this weekend, and won't take on the likes of Reed or James 'Bubba' Stewart until the AMA championship - which runs alongside theꦓ World SX GP series - begins in January.
