Monday's windy Moto2 and Moto3 test at Aragon didn't just feature t𝓀hi🐻s year's machines, but also some Triumph-powered 2019 bikes.

Former World Superbike race wiꦍnner Lorenzo Lanzi was at the controls of the new MV Agusta bike (pictured) while ex-grand prix racer Alex De Angelis put next year's NTS chassis throu🅠gh its paces.

Forward Racing, 🍸;MV's partner for the 2019 project, said that Lanzi recorded a best time of 1m 56.4s d🅷uring 83 laps. That compares with a best race lap of 1m 53.5s by Alex Marquez (Kalex) during Sunday's Moto2 race.

"The day went very well, it was really productive and I think the test was really complete," Lanzi said𝓰. "We tested the suspension, a new type of tyre, the saddle positions, and we alꩵso worked on the steering angle. 

"The amount of work was great and I'm haꦬppy to have successfully completed all the needs of today. I really thank the guys of the team who have supported me in the work in a competent and careful way."

The scrapping of Romano Fenati's contract means MV is still to confirm𒀰 its riders for 2019.

Meanwhile, Aragon Moto2 race winner Brad Binder will return to thꦺe track tomorrow for his first properꦓ test on the 2019 KTM machine.
