But, MotoGP’s top manufacturer has admitted 🔯holding talks with the Moto2 star to bring him into the prem🦄ier class.
Last month, Spanish publication report💦ed that Aldeguer had visited the Ducati headquarters to sign a contract which guarantees him a MotoGP bike in 2025.
“Ducati doesn’t want any surprises, Ducati doesn’t want any uncertaint𒅌ies in the immediate future,” the repoꦉrt claimed.
But now Ducati bosses have revealed their side of the s✨tory.
“Fermin Ald🌃eguer is a guy who is very ꦬfast,” Davide Tardozzi said.
“He showed his potentialꦦ at the end of last year. And he is very young.
“Everybody is thinking and trying to maꦓke🥃 a deal with him.
“We are d🥂iscussing it. We are at a good point. But nothing is 💫done yet.
“We’ll see what will be his choice.”
Gigi🐓 Dall𓆏’Igna added: “We didn’t sign a contract with him.
“For sure, Aldegue🔯r is one of the riders of the future.
“For us, it’s an interesting rider…”
Aldeguer is still just 18 years old. Last year, he finished third in Moto2 (Pedro♊ Acosta won the title and has stepped into MotoGP this year).
Aldeguer’s prodigious abilities saw him strongly linked to the MotoGP vacancies at Repsol Honda and VR46 at the en💝d of 2023.
But he missed out on those, an🦄d will instead r♔ide for Speed Up Racing in Moto2 for another year.
