Hondಞa Racing Corporation will present Ma👍rco Simoncelli's father with two special bikes during next weekend's Italian MotoGP at Mugello.

Paolo Simoncelli♎ will receive Marco's RC212V race machine - an extremely rare gesture - 🧸and also a 'Super SIC' inspired Honda CBR1000RR.

The bikes will be presented by Shuhei Nakamoto, HRC Executive-Vice President,♋ and Minoru Kato, Honda Europe Motorcycle Division Director.

The special edition Honda CBR will be auctioned off to raise money for The Marco Simoncelli Foundation:

Former 250cc world champion Simoncelli lost his life during a racing inciden𝕴t at Sepang last October.

The Italian was in his second season of MotoGP, during which he had cl෴aimed his first poles and podiums, and had been a Honda rider since 🌸joining the premier-class.

Peter has been in the paddock for 20 years and has seen Valentino Rossi come and go. He is at the forefront of the Suzuki exit stor🐭y and Marc Marquez’s injury issues.
