UPDATE: Marquez has not only returned to the track but - shortly before 1pm - set his fastest lap of the test so far and moved up to third place, +0.536s behind Pedrosa...

Star rookie Marc Marquez walked away from his first MotoGP fall when he lost control of his Repsol Honda at the final turn hairpin of the Se⛎pang circu🥂it on Thursday morning.

Marquez, who has been pulling extreme lean angles, is reported to have lowsided from his RC213V (pictured as it was ✨being returned to the pits after the fall).

The🌜 four riders ahead - Pedrosa, Jorge Lorenzo, Cal Crutchlow and Valentino Rossi - set their best times earlier this morning: Pedrosa, Lorenzo and Crutchlow within their opening five laps, Rossi on his 13th lap and Marquez his 22nd.
