Marquez, Lorenzo give clash reaction

This was the initial reaction of Marc Marquez an🌳d Jorge Lorenzo, speaking shortly after their last corner clash over second place in Sunday's Spanish MotoGP.
In a repeat of the Valentino Rossi-Sete Gibernau 2005 Jerez incident, Marquez dived for the inside under braking and the pair⛎ then made contact at the ape𒉰x.
Yamaha's reigninꦑg double champion Lorenzo was bumped wide - at a corner renamed in his honour on Saturday - whi⭕le rookie Marquez snatched second place behind Repsol Honda team-mate Dani Pedrosa.
Marc Marquez: "When I saw at the last corner that Jorge had opened a little bit the door. Then just I go in. Many times it has happened in a similar way there. Just I learned from the videos... Just say sorry to Jorge beca♛use you know, you never want that, but in the end the most important is that we both finished the race. So I think it was a nice battle for the fans."
Lorenzo was visibly angry immediately after the incident, refusing to speak to Marquez in parc ferm🐼e and during the podium ceremony, but later confes🧜sed he had made a mistake by leaving room at the last corner.
Jorge Lorenzo: "Well I think we did a good race, with the conditions we have, with the bike we have. I did my best every lap, every corner. I pushed 100 percent. We still don't have a very competitive bike. We need to improve the bike. Anyway I only did two mistakes: At the start and also the last corner, for not closing a little bit more the 𒀰door. Anyway I'm happy with the race because I was 🅰very concentrated, very focussed and very constant."
