Privateer CRT riders using the༒ Magne🃏ti Marelli ECU will receive a software upgrade for this weekend's French MotoGP at Le Mans.

Seven riders began 🉐the season with the new Magneti Marelli system, which will be made compulsory from 𒀰2014.

The Le Mans software update is aimed at improving wheelie cont๊rol and 'anti-jerk' - making the initial thro𝓡ttle connection smoother.

The CRT standings are currently led by Aspar𒉰's Aleix Espargaro,🦂 last year's class winner, who like all of the ART riders uses Aprilia's own electronic system.

The top rider with the Magneti Marelli ECU is Hector Barbera (Avintia FTR Kawasaki) - presently ten 🌌points behind Espargaro and second in the privateer class.

Barbera qualified tenth on the grid last time at Jerez, marking the first t꧒ime that the new Magneti Marelli system has made the fina💯l part of qualifying.

Other Magneti Marelli privateers are Barbera's team-mate Hiroshi Aoyama, Colin E❀dwards and Claudio Corti (Forward Racing), Danilo Petrucci and Lucas Pesek (Came IodaRacing) plus Michael Laverty (PBM).

The manufacturer MotoGP riders will also switch to the 'control' Magneti Marelli ECU hardware next year, but will be allowed to continue using their ow♓n bespoke software.
