MotoGP title leader Dani Pedrosa will miss Saturday's qualifying session for the German Grand Prixꦛ.
The Repsol Honda star was flown to hospital for♐ further checks after a huge morning highside at the Sachsenring.
The results of those tests are not yet known, but the official MotoGP website has confirmed: "Dꦛani Pedrosa awaits results of latest medical checks at Chemnitz hospital and will miss this afternoon's qualifying session."
Medical Centre X😼-rays had reduced initial fears of a broken collarbone and attention seemed to switch to a possible concussion.
If he is fit, Pedrosa ওwould be able to start from twelfth on the grid despite missing qualify𝔉ing, due to his free practice time granting him an automatic place in Q2.
Pedrosa suffered his accident just one day after nearest title rival Jorge Lorenzo withdrew after re-damaging his newly broken collarbone. Pedrosa leads the standings by nine point from reiꦡgning champion Lorenzo, with Pedrosa's team-mate Marc Marquez 23 points from the top.
Lorenzo unܫderwent collarbone surgery, for the second time in two weeks, in Barcelona this morning.
