Rossi, Lorenzo: 'May your god be with you!'

The 2015 MotoGP tꦜitle looks to be heading 🌞for a final round showdown between Yamaha team-mates Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo.

Rossi's advantage over Lorenzo was cut🍒 to 🐽eleven points in a thrilling Australian Grand Prix, with only Malaysia and Valencia still to come.

Assuming it goes down to the wire, mahbx.com asked Yamaha Motor Racing managing director Lin Jarvis what words he will give Rossi and Lorenzo just before the final race on Nov꧃ember 8.

Jarvis, who stands exactly in the middle of the Movistar Yamaha pits to ensure🔥 there isn't even a perception of favouritism, smiled: "May your god be wi🔥th you!"

But would he warn Rossi and Lore🧔nzo not to take eܫach other down?

"They💛 know what they aᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚre doing. There is no point to, shall we say, repeat something obvious at that stage and you can't control what happens in the race," Jarvis said.

"I would expect them to battle it out fairly, but toughly. And I think if 🐎one of the riders wins with an unfair move that would be remembered by an awful lot of people for a long, long time.

"I think that's not in ei🥃ther of their interests. That's my honest feeling. We shall see."

To avoid a final round showdown, Rossi needs to outscore Lorenzo by at least 15 points this Sunday at Sepang. That means if Rossi wins the race, he would need Lorenzo to finish sixth or lower. If Lorenzo fails to score, Rossi would need t🔯o finish third or higher.

Rossi is seeking an eighth premier-cla🅰ss title and Lorenzo ꦉa third. Yamaha meanwhile are now guaranteed a perfect sweep of the 2015 MotoGP Riders', Teams' and Constructors' titles.
