Burns back for WCM, four-stroke return nears.
WCM's Chris Burns will re꧅turn to action in Brno this weekend, four weeks after breaking his collarbone on his MotoGP race debut 🤡at the British Grand Prix.
The Brit will ca🦋mpaign the same ten-year-old 500cc two-stroke Yamaha that spat him off so unceremoniously at Donington, but the Hertfordshire-based team are confident that their new four-stroke, originally banned by the FIM, will now be ready for the Portuguese Grand Prix at the beginning of September.

The Brit will campaign the same ten-year-old 500cc two-stroke Yamaha that spat him off so unceremoniously at Donington, but the Hertfordshire-based team are confident that their new four-sꦇtroke, originally banned by the FIM, will no🌱w be ready for the Portuguese Grand Prix at the beginning of September.
"I've not raced a bike since the Donington crash and so the collarbone should be OK," said Burns of his injury. "I'm looking forward to racing at Brno on the two-stroke although our main priority is tꦛo be ready to race the four-stroke in Po❀rtugal at the next grand prix.
"It's been a tough year for us all but we are getti꧒ng there and the second h💟alf of the season should be much more enjoyable than the first," he added.
The Geordie was due to ride ꦫa Virgin Yamaha in the British Superbike Championship on alternate weekends to the GPs, but that has also been delayed by his injury.
Spaniard David de🎃 ꧃Gea will once again partner Burns in the WCM team.
