Jack Miller is on the verge of signing a new contract to re💟main at the Pramac Ducati team next season.

The Australian had been challenging𓆏 Danilo Petrucci for a seat at the official team, but the Italian's podium run - including victory at Mugello - looks set to see both riders remain where they are.

Miller made clear he would be happy to stay at Pramac providing he keeps access to the latest machinery - given rookie team-mate Francesco Bagnaia, currently on 🍸a year-old bike, is due to receive a GP20 next season.

And that now looks to be the case.

"Pr⛦etty much everything is done except putting pen to paper," the Australian said at Assen on Thursday.

"I think there are some meetings going on today. I mean🧔, it looks like I'm staying here. I say 𓂃that with a smile on my face because I'm happy, I'm really chuffed to be able to stay here for another year with the official bike.

"I th🐈ink it's goingღ to be awesome news for Pramac as well. It looks like we should be having two factory bikes here. So it's amazing news for the team and for both us riders.

"[ꦡNow] we're just waiting to iron out the rest of the contract details."

In addition to 🀅a GP20 and single-year contract extension, to bring him in line with the other factory MotoGP riders, Miller had sought assurances he would continue to get access to the latest technical updates.

"If we [Bagnaia and I] are both on the official bike, who gets the parts first is going to cꦓome down to who is the fastest🐬. That's the only way to do it," Miller said.

Miller is sixth in the world championship and the top satellite rider heading into this🎐 weekend's Dutch round, scene of his wet 2016 victory for Marc VDS Honda.
