Niki Tuuli makes history as th🎉e first-ever MotoE pole-sitter in Superpole qualifying at Sachsenring ahead of the series debut in Germany.

The Ajo MotoE rider, who finished practice second fastest, was the penultimate rider𝐆 out on track in the Superpole one-lap qualifying format and produced a 1m 27.456s to storm to pole position for the debut෴ MotoE race.

Tuuli, whose time would have put him in 25^th place on the Moto3 grid at Sac🃏hsenring, pushed out provisional pole-sitter Hector Ga🅘rzo by 0.787s on the Tech 3 E-Racing bike, with Eric Granado completing the front row for Avintia Esponsorama Racing.

Mike Di Meglio, who topped practice in Germany, narrowly missed out on the front row in fourth place for the Marc VDS EG 💖0,0 team with former MotoGP rider Xavier Simeon (Avintia) in front of Matteo Ferrari (Trentino Gresini) to complete row two.
