Jack Miller has become the latest sports star to raise funds to he🌌lp the victims of the Australian bushඣfire crisis by auctioning one of his 2018 MotoGP helmets.

Australia has been devastated by raging bushfires triggered by record-brea🥃king temperatures and months of severe droughts across the country. 24 people have be꧑en killed so far, including three volunteer firefighters, with more than 6.3 million hectares of bush, forest and land burned.

Miller, born in Queensland which is one of the worst effected regions, has joined retired cricketer Shane Warne and F1 driver Daniel Ricciardo in offering to raise money by auctioning his MotoGP helmet – with the desig🌺n he used during the 2018 season – with the funds bein♍g donated to the New South Wales Rural Fire Service.

The Pramac Ducati rider has confirmed the online auction will finish this Friday (January 10) at 1700 AEST when he will announce the winner and ship the helmet to them. He has also offered to sign the helmet for the winner. The𝔉 current bid (as of January 8 1100 GMT) stands at $11,200 AUD. Miller has also provided a link for anyone wanting to donate outside of the auction.

A number of Australian star☂s have been fundraising including comedian Celeste Barber who has raised £30m in under a we🍷ek.

M𒊎iller is preparing for the start of the 2020 MotoGP season and returns to track action at the Sepang test on February 7-9 as he gets to grips with Ducati’s new GP20 along with Andrea Dovizioso, Danilo Petrucci and Francesco Bagnaia.
