Aspar Team founder Jorge Martinez is preparing for multiple title attacks in 2020 for all five of his squads comp💙eting in different championships🦩.

Following a transitional 2019 after stepping out of MotoGP’s premier class at the end of the previous campaign, Aspar will continue to compete in Moto2, Moto3, MotoE, the Moto3 juni🌄or championship and the European Talent Cup.

In Moto2 the Aspar t✃eam has undergone the biggest shake-up with an all-new line-up in🧸 ex-MotoGP rider Hafizh Syahrin and Moto3 title runner-up Aron Canet while also switching to run Speed Up chassis.

With impressive rider formations at each team, with Maria Herrera’s new MotoE team-mate set to be confirmed in the coming weeks, Martinez has set the high standards of fighting for thꦯe title in each championship.

“We are growing, we have many riders, but the goal is the same in all categories: to fight for the tไitle. I think we can do it, because this year we have made🍰 a quality leap,” Martinez said.

“In Moto2 we have made a great forward leap with the arrival of Hafizh Syahr𒉰in and Aron Canet and wit⛎h the change to Speed ​​Up chassis. I hope that the new year will also give us many joys in this category, as in MotoE, where we already know more about the bike.

“At the Openbank Aspar Team we will have María Herrera, who did very good rac🐼es in 2019, when she finished just off the podium in Italy, and w♉e will soon announce her teammate, who will be a young rider coming from the bigger categories.

“With them 🌳we are sure we can achieve great results. Although it is still early because we have not started the pre-sea🐼son tests yet, I think we have made a great leap in all categories. We are very excited.”

The Aspar Team has produced its greatest success in the junior classes as four-time 1ও25cc world champio🔥ns, most recently in 2011 with Nicolas Terol, and is duly targeting the title again with Albert Arenas and Stefan Nepa.

“In the Moto3ꩵ World Championship we ended the year in good shape with Albert Arenas, with a victory and two more podiums in the final part of the season, and the goal is to give a step forward with KTM anಌd aim for the Moto3 title,” Martinez said.

“His new team-mate, Stefano Nepa, is a promising rider who already has the experience of the las🃏t two seasons, but is still young. We are going to help him grow so that he can regularly enter the top 10 and, little 🃏by little, can fight for the top 5 or the podium.

“The goal of the Aspar Team in the European Talent Cup ⭕with Iván Ortolá and 🙈David Alonso is to win the championship, because last year they were already runner-up and fifth in their debut season in the category.

“And in the Moto3 Junior World Championship we have three great riders: one of them, Daniel Holgado, has more experience; the other two are younger, as is the case of Ondrej Vostatek and Izan Guevara, who arrives as European Talent Cup champion. Holgado completed great races last season and already achieved some podiums. We are going to give the three of them the best mechanical material to be able to aim for the top positions, along with the advice and experienc🅠e of our team, headed by Nico Terol.”

Having run under the Angel Nieto Team title for the past two 🦹years, the Aspar Team will revert to its original name for 2020 while keeping strong ties to the iconic 12+1 world champion through the Angel Nieto Foundation.
