MotoE sets pre-season testing dates
The second season of the FIM Enel MotoE World Cup will kick-off with two pre-season tests taking🧸 place at Jerez.
After the success of the inaugural MotoE campaign in 2019, which saw Matteo Ferrari crowned champion in Val൲encia, the all-electric series returns to action with two three-day tests at Jerez.
The first test takes place betwe🍎en March 10-12 before the grid completes pre-season action at the Spanish Grand Prix venue on April 8-10.

After the success of the inaugural MotoE campaign in 2019, which saw Matteo Ferrari crowned champion𝕴 in Valencia, the all-electric series returns to action withไ two three-day tests at Jerez.
The first test takes place between March 🌄10-12 before the grid completes pre-season action at the Spanish Grand Prix venue on April 8-10.
The final day of pre-season testing will feature a full-length race simulation, repeating the arrangement from last year, which will take place o🐟n April 10.
The 2020 MotoE season gets underway at Jerez on May 3, during the Spanish MotoGP weekend, before continuing on to Assen (June 28), Spielberg (August 16), a double-header at Misano (September 1🦹2-13) and another double-header to complete the campaign at Valencia (Novem🌞ber 14-15).
Last year the MotoE series was thrown into jeopardy before truly starting when a devastating fire destroyed series equipmentܫ and bikes overnight at Jerez during pre-season testing. Nobody was injured in the accidꩵent which was triggered by a short circuit that ignited the MotoE batteries.
As a result the first-ever MotoE season was delayed until July with Sachsenring host༺ing the inaugural race as a six-race campaign was completed across four venu🍎es.
All💙 MotoE competitors will again uಌse identical Energica machines in 2020.
An 18-bike grid has be💫en confirmed for the 2020 MotoE campaign including defending champion Ferrari at Trentino Gresini, while the final slot on t⛦he grid at Openbank Angel Nieto Team will be filled in the coming weeks.
MotoE will act as a support class to MotoGP at ♔each roundꦉ.
