POLL: Minimum races for a 2020 MotoGP Championship?
Movement and crowd restrictions due to the coronavirus have caused disrupti💮on to the opening four rounds of the 2020 MoꦚtoGP season.
But of those four events, only Qatar is currently 'cancelled' for the preꦑmier-class with Thailand, the USA and Argentina being '💟postponed' to the end of the season.
That woul🎃d mean 19 of 🍨;the scheduled 20 rounds would still go ahead.

Movement and crowd restrictions due to the coronavirus have caused disruption to ൩the opening four rounds of the 2020 MotoGP sea☂son.
But of those four events, only Qatar is currently 'cancelled' for the premier-class with Thailand, the USA and🐭 Argentina being 'postponed' to the end o𝐆f the season.
That would mean 19 of the sched༒uled 20 rounds would still go ahead.
But the situationꦓ in Europe (where the opening MotoGP race is currently scheduled for May 3 at Jerez in 🅺Spain) means more calendar updates are likely to be issued and, while the FIM is willing to race on into January, president Jorge Viegas acknowledged that some rounds could drop away.
"Imagine that several events have yet to be cancelled and that we have ꦫto resume racing much later, well, we will go as far as it takes to keep championships worthy of the name," Viegas said."If it is necessary, we will go until January 2021. For us, it is not taboo.”
Contractually, between the FIM and Dorna, there should be at least 13 MotoGP races, but few believe the FIM would not be willing to budge on that number under the exceptional circumst🐓ances. The FIM Endur♌ance World Championship, for example, is held over just five rounds.
In your opinion, what would be the minimum number of races needed to hold a 2020 MotoGP World Championship 'worthy of the name'?
