Miller: From the first lap it felt better...

Jack Miller says he felt the Pramac Ducati was getting back towards the form he expected to feel during a different Czech MotoGP weekend after a positive first day of act⭕ion in the Austrian MotoGP.
The Australian was eighth quickest during first free practice at the Red Bull Ring as Ducati demonstrated vastly improved performance relative to the struggl🌳e⛄s it experienced in Brno.
Top of the timesheets in FP2 during a ♐weather affected session, Miller says he will need to confirm an improved base setting in FP3 before determining whether he is in contention for the podium.
“[It was] Not bad, it was OK. Immediately from the first lap it felt better, we have some sma💙ll issues with shaking, mainly near to the braking zone of Turn 3 but apart from that I am pretty happy with the performance of the bike.
“I did my best sector on the last lap of FP1 but I caught the yellow flag from Bradley ᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚat Turn ꦇ4 so it was a little unfortunate, but it’s OK the bike is working well. This afternoon it was one of those things, you sit there all session and then we tried to slicks for a couple of laps for a bit of fun.
“It's always frustrating when we go to a track I really like, I enjoy riding in Brno, to not be in y♚our normal way that I enjoy is not fun. You feel like you waste your opportunity at the track because you don’t enjoy it as much, you never enjoy when you stru♓ggle for the top ten.”
