MotoGP team boss Fausto Gresini 'critical' after 'complications'
The latest official update on the condition of MotoGP teಌam principal Fausto Gresini paints a worrying picture, with his 'clinical picture critical' after 'complications'.
The 60-year-old ꧑Italian, who has been using a mechanical respirator throughout, is also back in a medically-induced coma.
However, writing on Facebook, his son Lorenzo explained that the complications described in the update released by the team refers to events "between Friday and Saturday" and "since that time the conditions have remained almost u🐻nchanged".

This is the statement from Dr Nicola Cilloni of Bologna’s ‘Carlo Alberto Pizzardi’ hospital, where Gresini has been in inte💜nsive care, battling severe respiratory problems caused by Covid-19, since December 27:
"Fausto Gresini is still hospitalized in the intensive care unit of Bolognܫa’s Maggiore Hospital due to a persisting severe respiratory i♋nsufficiency following a Covid-19 infection.
"Unfortunately, complications have occurred, which made the current clini💯cal pictu൲re critical.
"The hospital staff are continuing the treatment with the highest-possible intensity, with the hope of a recovery of the organ functionality – whic🤪h has been severely compromised.
"He is still supported by a mechanical respirato🎀r and in a medically-induced coma.”
