Pedro Acosta’s incredible start ꦍto life in Moto3 continued this past Sunday during the Portuguese Moto3 race as he pipped Dennis Foggia to victory.

The Sp✅anish rider’s final ✤lap was one for the ages, as he recovered from a couple of mistakes including a big front end wobble during the final corner to claim a sensational second consecutive win.

"It was an amazing race! Finally, the strategy was to push from the first lap, to go alone like Raꦚul [Fernandez] last year, but when I 🃏was behind Dennis [Foggia], I saw that he had the pace and I preferred to watch behind and try to overtake him in the last lap," added Acosta.

"Finally, I think the te𝔉am worked very, very well together, and after the weather 💝condition on Friday, to be standing here is amazing."

Acosta and Foggia were the ꧙two main protagonists throughout the r🔴ace, with the Leopard rider leading most of the laps.

However, last year’s Red Bull Rookies Cup winner was sitting in a menacing second♓ place heading into the final 🌌lap.

Acosta made🍬 the winning overtake with two corners to go, and alluded to having a plan having seen the Leopard bike’s straight line speed.

"I had a little plan finally. In the middle of the race I overtook him [Foggia] at this point (turn 13𓆉), but in the last lap when I saw that he took some meters (on the straight), I thought okay, I have to overtake here, and if I have to touch him then I’m going to touch🤪," said Acosta.

"The last corner I made a mistake. I pu🐈shed a little bit hard on the rear brake and I had this front movement, but the bike was perfect for this race."
