Hot on the heels of the news that Energic𝕴a will be the single manufacturer for the new FIM Moto-e World Cup, to debut in 2019, it has now been announced that Michelin will be 🔜;official tyre supplier for the electric bi🉐ke class.

"For as ♚long as Mic💖helin has existed, the projects in which it has been involved have sought to take mobility forward, while making it safer, more economical and more respectful of the planet," said Pascal Couasnon, Motorsport Director at Michelin.

"Progress needs all the stakeholders to innovate, not only on the technological front but also in terms of their vision. As motoꦡrcycle racing’s first all-electric competition, theMoto-e World Cup’s creation by the FIM and Dorna Sports is a concrete, meaningful move🅷 in favour of mobility.

"For Michelin, it will provide us with an invaluable laboratory for the development of innovations that will go on to featu🅰re on our road tyres. We are consequently delighted to be in at the very beginning of this new champi𒁃onship as a technology partner.”

Michelin has been the exclusive tyr𓂃e supplier for the MotoGP class since 2016✱. Dunlop continues to supply the Moto2 and Moto3 classes.

Former Michelin Raಌcing technical director Nicolas Goubert will start his new rol🍌e as executive director of Moto-e in early 2018.
