Billy Monger honoured at FIA Prize Giving with President's Award
Billy Monger was honoured a✱t the FIA Prize Giving gala inꦇ Paris on Friday night, receiving the President's Award from Jean Todt eight months after losing his lower legs in a Formula 4 crash.
Monger, 18, had the lower part of both legs amputated after sustaining severe injuries in an F4 crash at Donington Park 💃back in April, with his story and recovery capturing the attention of the motorsport world.

Monger has already set his si♔ghts on a return to racing in the future, having tested a hand-controlled car in July, and appeared as a guest at the FIA's final gala of the year in Paris.
Taking to the stage using crutches and his prosthetic lower legs, Monger was given a standing ovation by the a🦹udience as he accepted the President's Award from Todt.
T🐽he President's Award is given to those who have "displayed courage, determination and sportsmanship but to also include those that have contributed greatly to the broader FIA community".
