The Isle of Man TT was red-flagged on ꦉWednes🧸day night.

An incident at around 8.50pm during the Sidecar qualifying res🌸ulted in red flags ending the day’s action.

A statement from the Isle of Man TT later confirmed: “An incident at Bishopscourt during Wednesday evening's sidecar qualifying session involv🉐ing outfit number 31 resulted in a Red Flag.

“Driver Chris S🍸chofield☂ and passenger Tom Dawkins were both reported as conscious and both airlifted to Noble's Hospital for treatment.”

Schofield revealed via social media that he has sustained two punctured lungs, a laceration of his liver, a con𝓀cussion, soft tissue damage, cuts and bruises. He remains in hospital under observation.

Accordin𒊎g to Schofield, his passenger Dawkins has been discharged from h꧙ospital.

Although Dawkins is "walkiꦐng wounded", he has onl🅠y cuts and bruises, and soft tissue damage.

Els🐲ewhere on Wednesday, Dav🔥ey Todd completed a double by topping two timesheets.

Todd w♌as fastest in the Superbike and Superstock qualif💛ying.

Peter Hickman was close behind Todd 🌳in each of those classes𒉰.

Michael Dunlop went quickest in the Super🤪sport category - notably, he was riding a Yamaha.

Jamie Coward was fastest in the Supertwin class.
