Peter Hickman provides a post-Isle of Ma🌸n TT recoꦛvery update

Peter Hickman h🍌as revealed the latest stage of his recovery from injuries sustained at the Isle of Man TT.
Hickman was hurt in 🔜the final qualifyin💙g session of the TT, hospitalised although he remained conscious.
He suffered chest, back, shoulder and facial injuries but re-emerged into the🉐 TT paddoc⭕k, in a wheelchair, sporting a black eye among other obvious damage.
Hickman has 𓆉now uploaded social media photos of his recovery process, joking about the similarity to comic book character Bane.
From inside a hꦛyperbaric chamber, Hickman wrote: “Doing my best Bane impression?!
“Still 💖on the IOM and doing the 🐟hyperbaric chamber twice a day to get repaired and back on a bike ASAP.
“Thanks for all the messages and suppor🔥t from everyone, onward🥂s and upwards!”
A hyperbaric chamber enables a patient to breatheꦗ 100% oxygen within a pressurised environment.
The body is the🎉n able to absorb much more oxygen into the blood, which can 🔯fast-track recovery from injury.
It is a method used by athletes from various sports. Recently, Jonathan Rea was spotte𝔉d inside a hyperbar𝕴ic chamber as he recovered from a foot injury.
Hickman is a 14-time TT champion who never got the opportunity to add🧸 to his ♓race win tally.
His road racing season has been t🎐umultuous. Firstly, FHO Racing fell apart forcing Hickman and Davey Todd to consider new plans for the TT and for the British Superbike Championship.
Hickmaꦡn and Todd co-founded 8TEN Racing with support from BMW Motorrad.
But Hickman’s TT e𒐪nded prematurely due to the injuries sustaiಞned in his crash.
There is no timescale on his comeback fro🐟m injury but it is clear that Hickman is trying to speed up the process.
